Story:
Astragalus root, known as the Great Protector, has a rich history of use for over 2000 years in China and other Asian countries. It’s Chinese name translates to ‘yellow leader’ referring to both its colour and its prestige in Chinese medicine. It is one of the most valued herbs in the world and well studied for its benefits by modern research. It has a mildly sweet, pleasant flavour that blends well as a loose herb in teas and soups. Try using the cooled tea as a base for smoothies or other beverages.
